
How to find us:
By Train:
When coming by Shinkansen you will arrive at Shin-Osaka. The
most comfortable way is to take the subway. Follow the red sign to the Midosuji Line. Take the train to Namba.
You can also take the JR Loop Line and go to Shin-Imamiya.
From Namba or Shin-Imamya take the the Nankai
Line to Koyasan.
In Gokurakubashi you change to the Cable Car, which brings you up to
Koyasan Station. From there you can take a bus to Koyasan. Leave the
bus at Keisatsumae (the Koyasan Police Station). From the busstop you
go straight to the next traffic light. There you go right and Muryokoin
is around 100 m further on on the left side.
On the station there are usualy also taxis waiting. The driver will bring you via the Great Gate directly to Muryokoin.
By Plane:
If you arrive at Kansai Airport, take the Nankai Line towards
Namba. Exit the train in Shin-Imamiya and go to the platform for the Koya-Line and proceed as
written above.
From Kansai Airport you can also take a bus to Kawachinagano.
The bus will stop behind the Nankai station. From here you take the Nankai Koya Line.
If you arrive at Itami Airport, you can take a bus to Namba
Station. From there you take the Nankai Line to Koyasan and proceed as
described before.
By Car:
you can come to Koyasan via Hashimoto. Just follow the signs towards Koyasan (高野山) You will arrive
at the Great Gate. From there you go straight on until the
2nd traffic light. The Tourist Office is across the other side as well
as the Fire Station and the Post-Office. There you turn left. Muryokoin
is around 200 m further on on the right side.
You can park your car usually inside of the yard, but please ask before.
or you come via Ryujin-Spa and
you will arrive at the Okunoin. Proceed from there straight until you
see the Fire Station and the tourist-Office on your right and the Post-Office
on the left. There is a traffic light directly after, just turn right there.
Muryokoin is around 200 m further on on the right side.
